Is standard Remote access is possible from one network subnet to another network subnet even if traffic is allowed across subnets?

Remote Desktop Sharing Utilizes the standard ports as for the RDP, yes the machines have to be on the same network within LAN connectivity, i believe WAN within the same network it should support as well.

We have found that below pre-req’s for standard RDP is a must to work :

 

  1. 7900 Port connectivity between Analyst and end-user machine.
  2. Web services URL (this SummitAI engineer can share as part of sanity check) should be accessible in that end-user system. Sample web service URL :  “https://<proxy server >/summitproxyservice/entwidgets/service.asmx :
