1. General code of conduct

Symphony SummitAI’s (“We/our/us”) community is there for everyone; however we want to make sure that the community offers a positive experience for all visitors. Therefore, these general guidelines have been established. These guidelines (“Terms”) are applicable to and binding on all users (“User/you/your”) of our community (“the Community/Forum”). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your use of the Community following any such modification, notified at conspicuous place, constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these Terms as modified.

1.1 Be friendly

Users must treat one another with respect. Users will not post any disruptive, defamatory or offensive material, including offensive comments about race, gender, color, disabilities, age, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and practice, political beliefs, or national origin. The Users shall not use coarse language, make inappropriate jokes or otherwise harass other Users.

1.2 Stay legal

Users shall not post any pornographic or otherwise offensive material, share illegal content or copyrighted content without permission to do so, attempt to distribute illegal substances, distribute viruses or other material which give the Users access to the computers or systems of other Users, or generally anything that is considered illegal by the laws of country of your residence. User shall comply with all applicable foreign and domestic laws, governmental regulations, ordinances, and judicial administrative orders while using Community.

1.3 Stay on topic

Please do not change the subject of a discussion to something not intended by the original poster. Any intentional or non-intentional off-topic posting or “hijacking” of threads will result in content being removed and ultimately can cause Users to be denied access to the Community, at our sole discretion.

1.4 No commercial use

Users may not use the Forum for (commercial) activities such as the advertising or sale of products or services, sending of commercial messages (spam), offering of (interactive) games or the advertising of other chat forums or websites. You shall indemnify, defend and hold us harmless against any and all liabilities, demands, claims, incurred in connection with any demand, claim, action, arising as a result of any breach by you of these Terms or claims arising from your account or arising out of content you post through the Community, your use of the Community.

1.5 No sharing of private information

Please refrain from sharing personal information (including but not limited to telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.) of yourself, any third person or companies. You may receive personally identifiable information or any confidential information from your use of Community. You shall not share such information with any third party for any purpose and shall not use the same for commercial purpose.

1.6 No multiple accounts

No User shall  own more than one  account on this Community. If our community team detects any double accounts, all secondary accounts shall be banned.

1.7 Moderator actions

The community team reserves the right to change or remove content or to restrict access to individual Users, should it be regarded as necessary for the smooth functioning of the Community. User is not allowed to discuss any such moderation actions in the Community. Should you disagree with an action taken then please contact a Moderator or the Community Manager via private message.

1.8 Be careful

All Users on this Community are here to help, however nobody can be held responsible for any  consequences resulting out of information derived from this Community. We disclaim all warranties of any kind about the Community and the Community content, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, suitability, reliability & accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business opportunities.

1.9 Intellectual Property

All copyrights, materials, rights, patents and other intellectual property (registered and non-registered by Symphony SummitAI and others) and all the contents that are posted on the Community shall remain our property or property of other declared legitimate owners. The User agrees not to infringe any such intellectual property rights. It is forbidden to copy, reproduce, republish, break apart, dis-compile, download, send, distribute, transmit, or make available to the public any material or content or portion, file or information on the Community.

1.10 User’s Content

You grant to us all rights, licenses and permissions necessary to display, reproduce, disseminate, and otherwise use your content in connection with the Community. 

 

2. Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of information that is stored on your computer as a file. Cookies enable us to recognize your computer on a subsequent visit. Cookies do not store personal information. We need your permission to use cookies.

2.1 How we use cookies

Information we obtain from cookies are used to analyze the Community. We use this data to adjust the Community to your personal preferences. Finally, when sending information about our products and services, we can take your previous interest for certain pages into account.

2.2 Cookie setting

You choose which cookies you want to allow. If you have an account, you can adjust your choice in your profile settings. If you do not have an account, you can change your cookie settings by deleting them via the internet options of your browser and visiting the Community again. You will then be asked to choose your settings again. There are 3 settings: Basic, Normal and Complete.

  • Basic: Functional
  • Normal: Functional + analytics
  • Complete: Functional + analytics + social media + embedded videos

2.3 Refuse cookies

Don't you want to use cookies at all? Visit the help pages of your browser to turn off or reject cookies. Be aware, it is possible that not everything works or is displayed correctly when refusing cookies.

 

3. Tracking / Analytics

We collect browsing data from you to continuously improve your experience. We will not spam you nor sell it to other third parties, without prior consent.

 

4. Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of law. If any of the provisions of these Terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
